Gerstlauer and the Ride Entertainment Group were proud to unveil the new trains for the Texas Giant roller coaster. On Wednesday, October 6 the unique roller coaster vehicle was shown for the first time at a public ceremony at Six Flags over Texas. Onlookers clapped and cheered when they saw the rolling stock. It featured a lot of “Texas” accents, including: a bull’s horn on the hood, “leather” seats, a saddle horn on the lap bar, and the look of a ’61 Cadillac Deville. The trains will come in 3 colors, teal, red, and black, and all of them will be seen racing around the course of the Texas Giant during the spring of 2011. What can we say; everyone on our team is thrilled to be a part of one of the most exciting ride installations in decades.
