The 2018 Skycoaster® Owners Meeting and Safety Symposium will be held at Lake Compounce (Bristol, CT) on Friday and Saturday October 12/13. The 2018 event is the first to take place in its new Autumn time slot which will allow for future events to rotate around various North American (and potentially International) sites moving forward. Approximately 80 attendees from across the US and Europe will take part in hands-on workshops on Friday October 12 which will focus on flight suits, cables/rigging, hydraulics, and general inspection procedures. In addition to workshops, attendees will have the opportunity to mingle and discuss operations/marketing strategies during lunch and an evening reception and also see Lake Compounce in full operation during the park’s popular “Haunted Graveyard” promotion.
On Saturday morning, attendees will take their Site Controller written test and then have an up close sneak-peak at the new Sky Sled harness. Following departures from Lake Compounce, Six Flags New England in nearby Agawam, MA has generously granted all attendees admission to the park during the popular Fright Fest event. Everyone on the Skycoaster team is excited to bring the seminar to New England this October.
