Fun Spot America in Kissimmee, Fla. has introduced a new harness to the world’s tallest SkyCoaster attraction called Sky Sled. This new harness allows riders to sit down during their free fall from 300 feet in the air. The Sky Sled also gives riders better views of Orlando and its surrounding attractions.
“The product has been in the works for about four, five years, and it was done in partnership with our harness manufacturing partner in California, said Mark Rosenzweig, managing director of SkyCoaster and Financial Partnerships at Ride Entertainment. “They have all kinds of cool contraptions. We tried [Sky Sled], just sat in and said ‘This is a go, we have to make it work.’”
