Across the Eastern Seaboard the Ride Entertainment Operations Team is getting our sites for opening day. We have also finished up various winter projects, like a new floor for the Charm City Carousel and a total refurbishment of the Himalaya at Fantasy Forest at the Flushing Meadows Carousel. I spoke with Ramon Serra, our Technical Manager. He said that the team gave the Himalaya a huge overhaul. “We were really busy up there,” he laughed. “We repaired the fiberglass on all the panels, installed brand new hardware down to the nuts and bolts, and added new wheels on the drive motors.”
